It’s been two years and a couple of days since I joined Paltalk. I came across this program while surfing the Iraqi sites on the Net. Having completed the registration process, I headed to a room called Iraq Alkarama. It was described by the site as a room that supported the Iraqi insurgency. I recall that I was so eager to hear more news about the insurgency, something more than what I read on the Net, that I spent hours and hours in the room. After a couple of days, I was appointed admin in the Alkarama room and felt even privileged to have been chosen among many others. ABU AL KUL added me onto the list of admins and explained things to me regarding reddotting and bouncing and so on. Being a completely novice user, I liked and respected everyone who spoke out against the occupation and spoke in support for our heroic and courageous Iraqi insurgency. One of the things that struck me when I listened to these people is that many of them said that they were doctors, PhD and MA holders, professors, sheiks, religiously devout and even representatives of the insurgency. Startled, I remember saying to myself that I was privileged and honored to be among such distinguished people. All thanks are due to the Almighty Allah that it didn’t take me long to discover the truth about these people and managed to see them through and that was one of the reasons that prompted me to quit the Alkarama adminship. Gradually, I became a bit more experienced and started exploring this new world, the virtual world of Paltalk. I began going into other Iraqi rooms and found out that people’s views change and are suited to the room and the people they are with. To put it in a nut shell, hypocrisy and sham was the name of the game. One day in the evening and while exploring the rooms, I came across ranouda-2’s nickname when she was speaking into the microphone. It was a small room and as there were only few Paltalkers whose nicks weren’t familiar to me. I immediately sensed from her voice that she was a decent and respectful Iraqi woman and liked listening to her patriotic views. I recall that I began hearing some talk about her embezzling a sum of money that was given to her in order to send it to someone. This issue has resurfaced once again and the irony is that the victims keep claiming that they have the evidence but have failed to present even a shred of it to support their claims up to now. Ranouda-2 managed to earn my trust, reverence, admiration from the very beginning and have felt honored and privileged to have known her since that day. She’s the type of person that, without any doubt, deserves to be proud of for her patriotism, honestly and trustworthiness. I’m confident that these fierce attacks on you ranouda-2 will not have any negative effects or will deter you from expressing your patriotic thoughts, as a matter of fact to the contrary, they will strengthen your steadfastness.
ABU AL KUL, the owner of the IRAQ al 3adalla room and some of his admins, began attacking ranouda-2, snake_2008, BA3THI_ 4_EVER and myself alazzawi29 for a series of articles that were published on the Net claiming that we were behind them. He and some of his admins grew angry and furious as these articles exposed his room mercilessly. ABU AL KUL and some of his admins made several insults about us in their room without having any proof to support their claim. They used shameful and coarse language without any regard to the presence of female Paltalkers in the room. Having said that, I must admit that the writer of these articles deserves a lot of credit and praise for accurately exposing the room, its owner and some of its admins as well as other dirtbags.
On April 12, 2009 I learned that ranouda-2 and I were being attacked fiercely in the IRAQ al 3adalla room again when it was full. Unfortunately, I only heard the last bit of the talk about ranouda-2 but was informed that merely two people spoke in her defense and I’m grateful and respectful for their stance (by the way, the known defender of Iraqi women wasn’t one of them). I came into the room and all of a sudden I heard my name mentioned by the owner ABU AL KUL. I was using a different nick and refrained from taking the microphone as I wanted to listen to his talk to the end and know whether any of the people present that I regarded as friends would have the courage to stop him from spreading lies about us. Regrettably, no one did. Afterwards, I heard the talk in its entirety thanks to one of his admins who recorded it and sent it to me. My decision not take the microphone was wise and due to the fact that I had already made up my mind to write these words. ABU AL KUL has to know that I’ve never said that I’m the most patriot person in Paltalk. Trying hopelessly to hold me up to ridicule, he said that I wanted to give him and others lessons in patriotism while not knowing Baghdad’s streets and districts well. The simple fact that I don’t know the capital city of my country well doesn’t give ABU AL KUL and the like the right to strip me of my patriotism and love for my country. I’m certain that his talk in this regard backfired. He also claimed that I was born in the UK which is utterly untrue, a claim based on spreading misinformation about me. It’s not a secret that ABU AL KUL is infamously and notoriously known for his coarse language and not by any manner of means a person that deserves respect. Being an admin i.e. for around 10 days in the Iraq Freedom Group room didn’t change any of my long-standing views and opinions, a fact that he tried to exploit against me. I participated in the Freedom room in numerous discussions about different topics, some of which were quite stormy, but all of them were in a polite manner unlike the discussions that take place in his room. As a matter of fact, IRAQ al 3adalla is notoriously known as a room frequented (with the exemption of a few Paltalkers whom I still some respect) by vile people, hypocrites, drunkards as well as people known for their dissimulation and sham. Everyone who wants to misbehave, write insults and use offensive language while speaking into the microphone, IRAQ al 3adalla is the right place for them. As a matter of fact, this room will soon win a place in the Guinness World Records book for its filthiness!!! ABU AL KUL’s main interest and focus is to have as many people in the room as possible. He resorts to different and disgraceful methods to attract people into his room and I think that every Iraqi Paltalker knows that when his room is full, it means that there’s a row going on there. The quarrels are various, e.g. talking bad and shamefully about a woman’s honor and dignity, sectarianism, spreading lies about others as well as arguments among the admins themselves. One of the many ridiculous things that he’s done is that he tried some people for their allegedly bad conduct in his room as if he were the supreme judge!!! There’s a saying that goes: People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. To cut a long story short, there hasn’t been any fruitful and sensible topic of discussion in the room for centuries. I have to admit that I sometimes go into the room and just listen and laugh at scum and their way of thinking. I honestly think that ABU AL KUL’s room sets a tremendously bad example and causes severe damage to our Iraqi reputation.
Last but not least, I’d like to express my great respect, appreciation and admiration for ranouda-2, snake_2008, BA3THI_4_EVER . They’re the people that have always supported me, been loyal to me and stood firmly by me in times of need. They can count on me and I shall do my utmost to support them and stand in their defense when the necessity arises. I’m fully confident that our relationships will become increasingly stronger as it’s timeless and limitless as well.
